Telangana Municipal elections results live updates: Counting begins across the state

Telangana, 12 February – The counting of votes for the municipal elections in Telangana commenced at 8 am today. The elections, held on 11 February, covered seven municipal corporations and 116 municipalities across the state.
Extensive security arrangements have been put in place for the counting process, which is taking place at 136 centres under CCTV surveillance and in the presence of micro observers.

BJP Leads in Maktal Municipality Postal Ballots
Narayanpet District, 12 February – Counting of postal ballot votes in Maktal Municipality for eight wards (1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 8, 11, 13) has been completed in the first round.
The BJP is leading in postal ballots, with 9 votes. The Congress and TRS each have 5, while independents have secured 2 votes.

DGP Shivdhar Reddy Warns of Strict Action Against Offenders

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is actively monitoring the results of the recent municipal elections from Delhi. He has been reviewing the outcome periodically, having already reported to the high command that the Congress would secure a victory in the polls.
