On the occasion of Telangana State formation day today i.e. June 2, fervour marks across the state with people gearing up for massive celebrations as it is the tenth anniversary of the state. The state government has decided to grandly organize the decade celebrations for three weeks from June 2 as the state enters its tenth year. As part of the celebrations, Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao will unfurl the national flag at the State Secretariat at 10.30 am on Today

State Government designed the expansion of metro rail from all parts of Hyderabad to the airport for the transportation facility of air passengers. The state government has decided to complete this project with a total cost of Rs 6,250 crore within the next three years with its own funds.

The installed power generation capacity of Telangana was 7,778 MW at the time of its formation as a self-governing state, and today we have been able to increase it to 18,453 MW. At the time of formation of the state, solar power generation was only 74 MW, but today we have been able to increase it to 5,741 MW. Telangana is leading in solar power generation in the country.

Mission Bhagiratha has received many awards and accolades including National Water Mission Award and Jal Jeevan Awards.

Telangana has ushered in a golden age in welfare with the slogan 'Let's increase wealth and distribute it to the people' and has taken the lead in development.
In 2014, the per capita income of Telangana was only 1,24,104. With the progress achieved by the Telangana government, today the per capita income of our state has increased to 3 lakh 17 thousand 115 rupees. Telangana, which is only ten years old, is better than the big states in the country in terms of per capita income. In 2014, the GSDP value of the state was only Rs. 5,05,849 crores, but today, the state GSDP has increased to Rs. 12,93,469 crores due to the financial support of all sectors of the state. That is, despite the crises like corona and demonetization, Telangana has recorded a growth rate of 155 percent and stood at the threshold of the decade.
