Parliament Monsoon Session Live Updates: No-confidence motion against govt

The motion was tabled on Tuesday against the NDA-led Central government after the Opposition failed to receive PM Modi's statement to both Houses on the Manipur violence, which was demanded since the monsoon session began on July 20. Although the no-confidence motion is bound to fail the numbers test, the Opposition is counting on winning the battle of perception among the public by cornering the government on the Manipur crisis.
