TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu was arrested in Nandyal by CID police in the wee hours of Saturday. It was learnt that the police informed Naidu that they are taking him into custody in the skill development scam. There was a high drama in Nandyal from the midnight of Friday. Police officials started mobilising the personnel from the neighbouring district. They restricted TDP cadres at several places preventing them from reaching the RK function hall in the town where Naidu was staying.

Chandrababu Naidu's convoy crossed Gollapalli toll gate near Marturu. It will take another one and half hour. What is surprising is some private vehicle's are following in the convoy. As per rules he being Zplus category private vehicles cannot come near the convoy.

CID arrests TDP chief with all evidences only, Says Peddireddy
TIRUPATI: Minister for Energy, Environment and Forests Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy said that CID arrested TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu with all evidence. His role in the skill development scam was evident and he is being shifted to Vijayawada by road. CID Additional DG Sanjay gave all the details relating to the case. Already central government agencies and ED have made some arrests in the case. Siemens, Digitek, Schiller company representatives were arrested. Read More

Chandrababu's convoy entered Bapatla district and is passing through Korisapadu towards Bollapally toll plaza. SP Vakul Jindal and local police are reportedly present to ensure that TDP leaders and workers do not obstruct the convoy on the national highway.
