Live Updates: Andhra Pradesh bandh today, call given by TDP after attacks on its offices
AP Bandh Live Updates: The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) has called for a bandh (shutdown) in Andhra Pradesh today over attacks on its offices, for which it blamed the YS Jagan Mohan Reddy regime. TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu called the attacks "state sponsored terrorism".
He demanded a through inquiry on the attacks at TDP state headquarters at Mangalagiri in Guntur and its offices in several other districts, and imposition of President's Rule in the state by invoking Article 356 of the Constitution.

Kurnool: The Telugu Desam Party, Kurnool Parliamentary president, Somi Shetty Venkateshwarulu was house arrested. Similarly, BC JanardhannReddy at Banaganapalle and others at their respective mandals were also house arrested. Heavy police force deployed at Kurnool TD office to avert untoward incidents.

In the wake of state wide Bandh call given by TDP, police arrested Party Kadapa parliamentary president J. Lingareddy at proddatur and shifted him to the police station. TDP Mydukur constituency incharge Putta Sudhakar Yadav was house arrested by police in Mydukur Town on Wednesday.
Meanwhile it is learnt to have APSRTC running it's services with police escort. Following TDP activits tried to restrict the buses comming out of depots.

Tension gripped many parts of East Godavari district on Wednesday, in the aftermath of attacking TDP offices by miscreants and also Bandh call given by TDP. The police are making house arrests for the several TD leaders not to come out from their houses and not to participate in Bandh. Some of the TDP leaders were house arrested at their residences in the district . District Superintendent of Police M. Ravindranath Babu SP deployed special police personnel across the district for not occurring any untoward incidents. He said the district police forces were being prepared to prevent any illegal activities or untoward incidents during the bandh.

Senior Telugu Desam Party leader and former minister Devineni Uma Maheswara Rao and his followers were arrested by police at Ibrahimpatnam junction when the TDP leaders and functionaries staging a protest in response to the state bandh call given by the party opposing the attack on the TDP offices and leaders in the state on Wednesday.
