Governor advises government to reinstate Ramesh Kumar as SEC
Vijayawada: Governor Biswa Bhusan Harichandan directed the state government to take necessary action as per the directions of the High Court to restore Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar as the State Election Commissioner, according to a communique from Raj Bhavan on Wednesday.

CM YS Jagan to launch Vana Mahotsavam today
CM YS Jagan will inaugurate the 71st Vana Mahotsavam on Wednesday with the motto 'Let's beautify every house and every village with greenery by planting trees'. He will start the planting program at 9 am in Ibrahimpatnam in Krishna district before the swearing in of the new ministers. Ministers Peddireddy, Kodali Nani, Perni Nani and Velampally will participate in the event, which will be presided over by state Forest and Environment Minister Balineni Srinivasareddy. The government has planned to plant 20 crore saplings during the festival.
