Andhra Pradesh Elections 2024 LIVE Updates
After a high decibel campaign, including by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and top leaders of Congress and BRS, the stage is now set for polling on Monday to elect 175 Assembly and 25 Lok Sabha seats in Andhra Pradesh.
The Election Commission has made elaborate arrangements to conduct free and free and fair polls. Prominent leaders including Chief Minister Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu, Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan, BJP state chief D Purandeswari and APCC president YS Sharmila are in the fray.

Yerragondapalem and Markapuram record low polling in Prakasam by 09:00 AM
Though the voter turnout is encouraging in all assembly constituencies in the erstwhile Prakasam district, the voters in Yerragondapalem and Markapuram are yet to join the flock. About 11.20 per cent of polling recorded at Addanki, 11.08 Chirala, 12.01 in Parchur, 9.50 in Darsi, 9.57 in Giddalur, 8.78 in Kanigiri, 12 in Kondapi, 5.69 in Markapuram, 12.53 in Ongole, 11 in Santhanuthalapadu, 3.07 in Yerragondapalem, and 12.27 in Kandukur.
