Love jones 1997

Things go south when their father (Mark Ruffalo) is not the guy they expected to be picture perfect.

Always Be My Maybe (2019)

In this instant Netflix classic, childhood sweethearts (Ali Wong and Randall Park) get strangled for 15 years after having an argument. When they are adults they meet again and the sparks are still there, of course. It's a sweet movie which will make you want your best friend to fall in love. Bonus points for playing Keanu Reeves himself.

Bridesmaids (2011)

Annie (Kristen Wiig) is a single woman who is trying to navigate her love life when she finds out that she's going to be the maid of honor in her best friend Lillian (Maya Rudolph)'s upcoming wedding. The hilarious film boasts an all-star cast including Rebel Wilson, Rose Byrne, and Melissa McCarthy, so you're sure to find a favorite character who keeps you laughing all the way through.

Crazy Rich Asians (2018)

Think Like A Man (2012)

Based on Steve Harvey's book of the same name, Think Like A Man chronicles various couples as they follow the "advice" provided by the author on how to maintain a relationship. When the men and women use the book to exploit the other, the scheme burns in back. It's funny and so is the cast (Gabrielle Union, Michael Ealy, Kevin Hart, Taraji P. Henson, and Meagan Good, to name a few).
