The most-awaited Dussehra Navaratri is just around the corner. Along with bringing the long holiday season, it also lightens the houses with festive fervor and delightful family bondings. Most of them fly back to their home towns to celebrate this festival with their families. Coming to Telangana, we celebrate the colourful Bathukamma festival on nine days and then immerse the Goddess Bathukamma in the lakes same as Ganesh Visarjan. Besides that, Goddess Durga is worshipped is nine forms on these nine days.

The Dussehra Navaratri starts from 11th October and will conclude on 19th October followed by Vijayadashami which is also known as Dussehra. Well, most of them offer prayers to Goddess Durga by wearing a specific colour on each day and also observe fasting during the nine days.
