Masque, Mumbai's fine-dining restaurant has received the Miele One To Watch award in Asia's 50 Best Restaurants 2020. The award is given to a restaurant that is not part of the Best 50 Asia list but is recognized as the region's rising star.

Masque is an ingredient-driven, fine-dining restaurant created in 2016 by Chef Prateek Sadhu and Aditi Dugar. It offers a 10-course tasting menu based on seasonal ingredients and pays homage to the diverse products of India. According to the restaurant website, the 10-course menu costs Rs 3,950.

Masque is the first restaurant to bring Mumbai to the idea of the menu only tasting. Another fascinating thing about the restaurant is that it produces 70 per cent of its own farm produce.

On receiving the award, Sadhu said, "Once we found out we had received the award, I was actually pinching myself. We are really excited-this gives us the opportunity to present Indian food to the world."
