Water testing lab inaugurated at Pallavi Engineering College
Dr K Nagaratna, Director, Indian Meteorological Department, Hyderabad inaugurated the Water testing lab – Jalasiri at Pallavi Engineering college.
Hyderabad: Dr K Nagaratna, Director, Indian Meteorological Department, Hyderabad inaugurated the Water testing lab – Jalasiri at Pallavi Engineering college. Speaking on the occasion she appreciated the efforts of management and congratulated the College for taking such initiative she also briefed about the weather forecasting techniques in different climatic conditions.
Jalasiri, the water testing lab of Pallavi Engineering College will be performing holistic water testing for the schools and colleges free of cost as the drinking water should be pure and safe. The lab will also collaborate with various pharma companies for ensuring the quality of water used in manufacturing. Dr N Satyanarayana, Principal speaking on the occasion thanked M Komaraiah, Vice Chairman for his unstinted support for implementing Jalasiri he said that we are offering veracious water analysis treatment of various types.
Pallavi's Water testing lab JALA SIRI offers quick and accurate water testing services at nominal cost. The parameters of test include pH, hardness, cholorides, sulphates, nitrates, fluorides, dissolved oxygen, iron, turbidity, absorbance, pesticide residue, detergent residue, dissolved ammonia, total dissolved solids. Dr K Nagajyothi, vice-principal emphasised on the importance water conservation & importance of testing on regular intervals to avoid various diseases. She also briefed about the parameters tested and the objectives of Jalasiri to provide pure and safe water to the Society.
The types of water which will be tested at PEC – Jalasiri are: effluent water, potable/drinking water, boiler feed water ,food processed water, irrigation water, sewage water and swimming pool water. The logo of Jalasiri was launched by the chief guest along with the faculty of chemistry department.
