A Model Rythu Bazaar was ushered in by The Play School, the Kindergarten Wing of Sister Nivedita School, Ameerpet.

Hyderabad: A Model Rythu Bazaar was ushered in by The Play School, the Kindergarten Wing of Sister Nivedita School, Ameerpet. The students and the teachers had dressed up and presented themselves as sellers and traders of a village.

It was a colourful and a jazzy arena portraying one's nativity, weekly markets in the villages. The main attraction of the bazaar included various stalls depicting the shops that sells fruits, vegetables, grains, clothes, toys, cosmetics and many other things that fawned on the eyes of the visitors.

This age – old traditional village had stalls of bioscope, fortune teller, puppet show and food stalls which captured special attention of the visitors.

Undoubtedly, this Rythu bazaar brought immense pleasure to the children and gave them relaxed and memorable moments to carry throughout their lives.

Additionally, the children had sold the goods with a great sense of responsibility, to the extent that they did not use plastic bags to hold the products sold. The visitors were presented with a cloth bag to ease their shopping, thus banning the use of plastics.

The chief guest of the day, Rama Devi, Secretary, Sister Nivedita Foundation, the Director of the school, Harihara Prasad, the Principal of the school, Jayanthi Venkataraman had visited the Model Rythu Bazaar and were enthralled looking at the children selling goods smartly and with a great sense of intuition.

Their efforts were well appreciated by all. The presence of parents added flavour to its nativity and it turned out to be nostalgic for many.
