She has inaugurated 'Samalokanam' an awareness programme on Architecture and Design Education at Institute of Engineers, Khairatabad on Saturday. Prof Kavita graces as chief guest and lit the lamp as mark of the inauguration along with Prof G Sunil Kumar, Director, GITAM School of Architecture, Prof A Sreeram, Director, Students Affairs and Muttu Kumar, Vice-President, HMTv.
Prof Daryani Rao said that the architecture and design institutes have been importing the life skills to the students, so that they able to perform those skills lifelong. She shared her experience with JNAFAU's alumni meet.
Most of the alumni have been performing well and leading the good life in the areas like animation, building and design fields. She express her dismay that the skills what they learned are might not match at work place. Prof Kavita supported to opt the creative professional education to grow in the future.
Prof Sunil Kumar welcomed the guests and told the objective behind to arrange the 'Samalokanam' program. He wished that the platform may provide an opportunity to the student to choose design or architecture course and will clarify the droughts of students as well as their parents.
Prof A Sreeram briefed the over view of GITAM since its incepting to present day excelling. Mukteshwar, Assistant Professor, GITAM School of Architecture proposed the vote of thanks.
The day long awareness program on Architecture and Design provided more clarity for the aspirants. Most the students and parents from the twin cities visited this fair and utilized the unique opportunity.
