One Child One Plant campaign at APS, Bolarum

Hyderabad: Furthering its initiatives for social causes, Army Public School, Bolarum conducted a tree plantation drive within the school campus as a part of CBSE campaign of One Child One Plant.

The students were initiated into the programme through an activity conducted by the students of the Primary Wing and Secondary wing where the entire school took an oath to plant a tree each at suitable locations not only within the campus but also in their neighbourhoods to achieve the objective of social afforestation.

The campaign was kicked off by presenting a plant to the Principal, Smitha Govind. Over 50 trees of different varieties have already been planted.
