What makes your institutions special?
MREC works on the premises that every student has a potential and we would want to see them transform from an ordinary engineer into a global professional. We also endeavour to make them think innovatively, rather than just become robots. Our aim is to churn out all-rounded individuals who can provide solutions to problems.
What are the courses offered?
Civil Engineering (CE), Electronic and communication engineering (ECE), Mechanical Engineering (ME), Electronic and electronics Engineering (EEE), Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), mining Engineering (Min, E), Information Technology (IT), Master of Business administration (MBA), M. What are the facilities at MREC?
The campus is spread over 10 acres with excellent infrastructure with spacious classrooms. We have separate hostels for boys and girls. The college believes strongly on ragging and have a zero acceptance policy. An anti ragging committee has been established and stringent action is taken when incidents come to our notice. The college believes that just classroom lectures are not enough and a library with 50,000 books has been set up.
We provide "buffet system" education for students so that they can choose anything of their interest. We have a system to bring guest lectures and professionals from the industry on a regular basis. Training camps are conducted for students and tips given on how to crack interviews.
We introduced alumni chapters in the USA, UK, Germany, Canada, and Australia. As part of social responsibility our students have educated villagers about HIV and other diseases. We also identify poor students and support them to complete their studies apart from identifying the villages which have low literacy rate and conducting awareness camps.
