Hyderabad: Pallavi Engineering College organised a massive 'Green Pledge' on Friday in association with National Green Corps Eco Club, Telangana State Biodiversity Board, Lee Shreyus Foundation, TV9 and V3. The guests of honour for the event were Santosh Jagarlapudi, the renowned Film Director, Dr.Shilpi Sharma, Regional Coordinator, Telangana State Biodiversity Board, T. Radhika, Project Officer, National Green Corps, Govt. Of Telangana, Jogi Ritish Venkat, CEO and Managing Director, Sagar Software solutions Pvt. Ltd.

Malka Komaraiah, the Vice-Chairman of Pallavi Engineering College addressed the gathering stressing the importance of environmental sustainability and the green practices carried out in Pallavi Group of Institutions. Dr. K. Nagajyothi, Vice-Principal welcomed the gathering and elaborated about the importance of ecological cycle and real green revolution.

More than 1500 students of various engineering colleges,schools participated in the event and taken a Green Pledge wholeheartedly to contribute to the society with green environmental practices.

All the dignitaries mentioned in their address about the importance of young generation in promoting environmental sustainability for the betterment of future generation. After the successful attempt of massive green pledge, the members of Asia Record Book presented the Award of Asia Record Book to the Vice-Chairman of the college.
