Hyderabad: Project expo sees the participation of 200 school students
Pallavi Engineering College organised National level Project Expo Pragathi in association with Indian Meteorological Department on Saturday.
Hyderabad: Pallavi Engineering College organised National level Project Expo Pragathi in association with Indian Meteorological Department on Saturday. The event included presentation of working and non-working project models, poster presentation and quiz related to science and technology. Around 200 students from various schools and junior colleges participated in the event actively.
Dr. Puli Ravikumar, Member Secretary, Telangana State Council of Science and Technology was the chief guest and addressed the students on the importance of innovation and recent advanced innovations. He also suggested various science and technology schemes offered by Telangana Government for encouraging innovations and research. Dr. K. Nagaratna, Head, Meteorological Centre elaborated about various weather forecasting techniques and latest innovations in forecast.
Dr K Nagajyothi, Vice- Principal explained the industrial revolutionary path comparing with education revolutionary path and stressed the need of creative ideas. Rupa Kumar, Convener of the expo welcomed the gathering. Cash prizes and certificates were distributed during the valedictory session.
