Hyderabad: 25th Annual Day celebrations at VRS, VJR school
Hyderabad: The students of VRS and VJR School, Bachupally celebrated its 25th Annual Day here on Friday. The silver jubilee celebrations was a grand success with the dignitaries, guests, parents, children, and the team of teachers, the support staff, principal, director, and the management of the school being present on the occassion. Governor, Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan, graced the event with her presence and everyone who was present there was enthralled with her charisma. She was given a grand welcome by the management of the school, NCC Cadets, everyone present there, and an equestrian troop.
As a customary tribute to the vanquisher of obstacles, the programme started with a performance/prayer to Lord Ganesha, with the Maha Ganapati Stotram, followed by a tribute to the protector of all, with the Shiva Thandavam. The chief guest was Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan, Governor of Telangana, and the Guests of honour were the School Executive Trustee Sri Vallurupalli Raja Rama Mohana Rao, Executive Trustees Vallurupalli Rajasekhar, Vallurupalli Raj Kumar garu, Cherukuri Venkateswara Rao garu, Captain D Sreenivas, Commander Naval Unit NCC and School Director, Kodali Vijayarani
The School Director announced a gist of the annual report and specified the events and achievements of whole year. The top achievers in academics, sports and other competitions were given prizes and merit certificates from the guests
The dignitaries addressed the gathering and spoke about the virtues of the school and gave valuable advice to the children too. The Vote of Thanks was given by the Head girl, and the dance bonanza that followed was spectacular with performances which was all just perfect. The themed dances and performances which had absolute perfection in rhythm, movement, and expression, had resounding applause and that was proof enough of the appreciation from the audience. Services provided by VRS Trust is very precious, it is the one which is providing the best education giving the golden future for the students as well as providing the responsible citizens for our country. The founder Vallurapalli Nageswara Rao is not only the builder of bricks & cement but also the builder of the future of the children.
