Hyderabad: British Council announced the launch of IELTS Coach, a structured and customised online blended learning course to help test takers across India maximise their preparation time. IELTS Coach has been designed to equip IELTS aspirants with tips, strategies and insights about exam practices, complementing their hard work to enhance their test taking skills and improve their abilities to score well in IELTS tests.
The online blended course has been developed exclusively by IELTS writers and will be delivered by experienced British Council teachers. The new blended course has been designed to be holistic and combines the convenience of online learning with the availability of a real teacher/ mentor to solve queries. It also stresses on focused attention, with a maximum teacher-to-student ratio of 1:20.
Aimed at aspirants who are familiar with the English language, (about IELTS band 5), the training course will be conducted over a period of 4 weeks, spanning 42 hours. This includes 30 hours of app-based learning for Reading and Listening skills through comprehensive lessons covering tips, strategies and test practice. Along with this, there are 12 hours of online live classroom training, with 3 hours dedicated each week to improve Speaking and Writing skills, steered by an expert teacher to provide guidance and feedback. Over this period, the learners will get a chance to imbibe strategies for excelling in tests for listening, speaking, reading and writing, improve their skills with real test questions, receive useful tips to better self-confidence and get acquainted with variety of topics useful for answering test papers.

Registration process
Applicants are first required to take a short online level check followed by a consultation with one of our advisors, to discuss course options relevant for the applicant, before registration. This online blended course has now been made available to adult learners across India at a fee of INR 9,500 inclusive of taxes.
