TiE Women Asia Summit 2026 provides platform for women founders

Over 50 investors, women entrepreneurs, industry representatives and ecosystem leaders convened at the Networking Gala Dinner of the TiE Women Asia Summit 2026 in Hyderabad, providing women founders across Asia with an opportunity to network with investors, mentors and potential partners.

Organized by TiE Hyderabad in conjunction with the Hyderabad Entrepreneurship Ecosystem Collective (HEEC), the networking evening focused on fundraising, business growth, partnerships and market expansion, among other issues, and was part of the larger TiE Women Asia Summit, which seeks to promote access to mentorship, investment, knowledge and networks for women-led enterprises.

Speaking at the event, Upasana Kamineni Konidela, Vice Chairperson – CSR, Apollo Hospitals and Founder of URlife says, “Success isn’t just about scale, it’s about impact — building something that outlasts you and lifts others along the way.”

Drawing from her own experience, she stressed the need to create enterprises which leave a legacy and add value to the lives of others.

The event also saw a fireside chat with Priyanka Chigurupati, Executive Director, Granules India Limited, in conversation with M V Reddy, Co-Convener, TiE Women Asia Summit, on leadership, business expansion and taking calculated steps into unchartered waters.

Chigurupati, who has traversed two industries — fashion and pharma — in her career, said the thread that ran through her professional journey had been the ability to build impactful ventures. “When it comes to business, women must think, act and perform like men — only then will they truly succeed,” she said, urging women entrepreneurs not to wait for the ‘right’ moment to take action.

In his welcome address, Rajesh Pagadala, Chair, HEEC Committee, spoke of the need to connect founders with the right capital, expertise and support within the city’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. Murali Kakarla, President, TiE Hyderabad, spoke about the larger goal of enabling more opportunities for women entrepreneurs. Speaking on behalf of the TiE Global Board of Trustees, Kamal Agarwal highlighted the role the summit played in enabling women entrepreneurs. Nandini Aggarwal, Director, TiE Global, elaborated on TiE’s network of chapters, mentorship programmes and funding initiatives, while Ravi Chennupati, Vice President, TiE Hyderabad, thanked the entrepreneurial ecosystem for its role at the event.
