Sivathmika Rajasekhar claims that films are not new to her and she almost grew up in the film industry. "From the young age, I have been exposed to cinema and it has become a part of my life.

More than school, I spent more time on the film sets," says the daughter of Jeevitha Rajasekhar, who is making her debut with 'Dorasaani'.

With her debut film getting closer to release on July 12, there is buzz at home. "Family members are waiting for the audience response," she informs.

"I liked the story and director Mahendra's narration of my character and agreed to do the film," she adds. "I met my co-star Anand Devarakonda during auditions and we struck a chord," She claims that love stories can't be bifuracated as old and new.

However, she was nervous on the first day, "But director instilled confidence in me and I could carry on," she disclosed. The diva claims that movies of mother (Jeevitha) were her references.

"As our film is set in 1980s, I saw my mom's film 'Tharambralu' and imbibed her looks and attire. Many said, I looked like my mom, that's a great compliment," she informs.

She is proud to be the daughter of actor Dr Rajasekhar as well, 'I have been observing his larger-than-life image on screen from my childhood.

Even before the excitement of his recent release 'Kalki subsides, my movie is hitting the theatres, adding to happiness in our family.

I am on cloud nine, when my dad talks great about my movie with others. I am proud to the carry the legacy of my family." she concludes.
