Prabhas unveils ‘Romeo Juliet’ glimpse
The upcoming Telugu youth-oriented film Romeo Juliet is all set to surprise the audience with an out-of-the-box approach to the age-old love triangle. Starring Harshith and Vishaka Dhiman in the lead roles, the Gen Z love story helmed by Bhargav Macherla will release in theatres on October 23, 2026, on World Rebels Day, which also marks Rebel Star Prabhas’ birthday. Prabhas announced the story reveal glimpse on his Instagram page, wishing the film’s team on the occasion.
While it is customary in Tollywood to keep the story of a film under wraps until its release date, the makers of Romeo Juliet have unveiled a story reveal video nearly four weeks ahead of the film’s launch. The video offers a glimpse of the film’s modern-day take on love and relationships. It follows the protagonist, who visits a local gun shop to buy a gun, presumably to kill a girl, and delves deep into contemporary relationships.
The video talks about one-night stands, casual relationships, break-ups, hook-ups, benching, situationships, and boy best friends. Romeo Juliet will hit the screens on 23rd October 2026.
