Kajal prefers role over pay?

Pretty actress Kajal Agarwal signed her next Hindi movie opposite John Abraham impressed with the meaty role over fat pay cheque. "More than the money, she was floored by the well-defined role and gave her nod without batting an eyelid," says a source, close to the actress and adds, "She wanted to to work with John Abraham who has become a specialist in content-driven movies these days," he adds.

Actually, Kajal is in big demand in T-town and reportedly pockets Rs 1.75 cr per film, but she has made some exception for Bollywood project. "It is not fair to compare Hindi and Telugu movies.

She is an A-lister in Telugu and Tamil movies, while she accepts Hindi movies to expand her brand equity and wants to do roles with substance like 'Special 26'. Yet again, she has got another plum offer to shwocase her acting skills and she was game for it," he points out.

Coming to her Telugu movies, the actress had to be content with two flops 'Gangster' and 'Sita' but she is open to work with new-generation stars. "Hits and flops are part of an actor's career, but young heroes are willing to work with Kajal, that is key factor that keeps her career flying high," the source concludes.
