I'm giving measured performances, says Rajasekhar

The theatrical trailer of 'Kalki' was unveiled on Monday in Hyderabad. Dr. Rajasekhar, the film's hero, was flanked by director Prasanth Varma, guest Praveen Sattaru and others on the stage. The film will hit the screens on June 28. Jeevitha Rajasekhar said, "I thank Praveen Sattaru for attending the event. After 'PSV Garuda Vega', the only story we came across which had the potential to rev up the image of Rajasekhar was 'Kalki," Director Prashant Varma added, "Although 'Kalki' is an investigative thriller, it is a commercial family film with no sleaze or embarrassing moments. Rajasekhar garu has put in so much of hard work as we shot in tough locations,"

In his speech Dr Rajasekhar said, "I worked with Kodi Ramakrishna, Raviraja Pinishetty and Muthyala Subbaiah repeatedly. In this generation, the likes of Praveen Sattaru and Prasanth Varma give me a sense of assurance. They make me feel secure. They have taught me to be measured in my performance to suit the tastes of young audience. The director has worked hard to outwit 'Garuda Vega' in terms of content.

When Chiranjeevi garu's son became a producer, he was very proud. I felt that I too would have been proud like him had I had a son producing a movie. But my daughters are doing their best on the production front and making me proud."

Finally, C Kalyan added, "Kalki is a powerful thriller. I am sure it will be a bigger hit than 'Garuda Vega' and will reach out to B and C centres in a big way."
