I relied on spontaneity: Catherine Tresa

Young actress Catherine Tresa claims that director Kranthi Madhav narrated a gripping story of 'World Famous Lover' and she was floored. "I have strong and well-written character, even though there are two other heroines in the movie.

I don't think about other actresses, if my role is significant enough. In fact, three of us will not share screen space in the movie," said the actress, who has the habit of posing questions to directors.

"How should I prepare for the role and what my look should be like but Kranthi told me to do nothing and be natural and spontaneous," she added. Working at coal mines in the movie was exciting enough and it was new experience for her.

"The whole atmosphere was captivating and an enriching one," she informs. She claims to be putting her insight into roles as she likes to do justice to her craft.

"Our film explores the woes of falling in love and difficulty in sustaining a relationship. We explored the psyche of two individuals, who are not on the same page on varied issues," she adds.

On working with Vijay Devarakonda, she says, "Vijay is a dedicated actor and puts in his best for a role. His body language, gait and performance changes for each shade. But he is cool guy on the sets," she points out.

She admits that she was doing Tamil movies and had less time for Telugu movies. "I was busy in Kollywood as nothing interesting came about in Telugu," she informs.

Talking about love in real-life, she adds, "I truly believe in love and relationships. But I can't define love because it is quite complex and difficult to explain in a few words.

I don't have any specific opinion on 'live-in' relationships either," she explains. But she believes in the institution of marriage and feels that couple should spare enough time to each other for their relationship to blossom.

"Marriage is a sacred institution and even married couples have to invest time in each other for a cordial relationship," she adds. She enjoyed her role in 'Sarrainodu' and adds, "I also entertained audience in that role which was a serious one," she informs.

Elaborating further on exploring varied roles, she adds "I have done a role with dark shades in 'Nene Raju Nene Mantri' and also done thrillers, comedies and family entertainers because I like to explore different genres as an actor," At the end of the day, she wants to be remembered as a versatile actress who has done a wide-variety of characters.

"That's my ultimate dream to be recognized as an actor who left nothing unexplored," she opines.

On the controversy around her upcoming movie with Balakrishna and director Boyapati Srinu, she was tightlipped about it. "I don't want to say anything, let producer or director Boyapati clarify it." she signs off.
