Tollywood: Suhasini Maniratnam acted as Megastar Chiranjeevi's romantic interest in so many films from the past. But, now, they are going to play brother-sister for the upcoming Telugu film. Touted to be the remake of Lucifer, the makers initially considered Vijaya Shanthi for the role.

But, the makers decided to go with Suhasini, considering her stature as a heroine. In the original, Mohanlal played the lead role while Manju Warrier played a crucial role which Suhasini will reprise for the Telugu version.

Chiranjeevi is constantly in touch with director Sujeeth regarding the changes that are to be made for the Telugu version of the movie. As of now, there is no clarity on the other actors in the movie.

Most likely, the film might get announced during the year-end and the shoot will begin next year, after Acharya's release.
