Akhil picks a flop director for his fifth?

Even though he has acted in three films till now as a hero, Akhil Akkineni is yet to score his first success. His last film was Mr. Majnu which was released earlier this year. Currently, Akhil is working on his fourth film which is being directed by Bommarillu Bhaskar and pinned a lot of hopes on it.

Touted to be a family entertainer, the shoot of this film is currently happening in Hyderabad. It is being produced under the GA2 Pictures banner. Meanwhile, it is being heard that Akhil is also planning to sign his fifth film when his fourth film is in the production stages itself.

According to the grapevine, young director Prashanth Varma of Awe fame has recently narrated a story to Akhil and the latter got immensely impressed with it. It is being heard that Akhil has given his nod and asked Prasanth to work on it. On the flip side, it was also reported earlier that Prasanth has okayed a project with Kajal Aggarwal. We have to see which project will the young director take on floors first.
