It was later that Arvind acted as a villain in a movie titled 'Thani Oruvan" that got released in the year 2015, and this movie gave a different direction to this actor's career. Later, the same movie was remade in Telugu also as "Dhruva" in which Arvind Swamy played again as a villain opposite to Ramcharan.
Now, it is said that he will enact the role of a villain opposite Telugu Megastar Chiranjeevi. But the team is yet to make an official announcement about this.
