Bengaluru: Tulu actor Pruthvi Ambaar, who achieved success with his Kannada debut in director KA Ashoka's Dia, is now making his singing debut for his next film titled, 'Life is Beautiful'. Pruthvi is rendering his voice for a special number penned by Madan Bellisalu and Nobin Paul has scored the music. While Madan is known for his works in Beautiful Manasugalu and Nobin has had successes with critically acclaimed ventures such as Devaki, Rama Rama Re. He has also scored music for the upcoming film Charlie 777 starring Rakshit Shetty in a different role.
Pruthvi is said to have a passion for singing. Inspired by Michael Jackson, he wanted to become a singer more than an actor.
"However, since I was not that great a singer, I soon shifted to acting. Though I am not a trained singer, I used to sing in orchestras, parties and so on which always kept my love for singing alive," says Pruthvi Ambaar .
The film team shares that when the music was composed for an 'inspirational number', they realised that Pruthvi was very much involved with it and would often be seen singing it. "In fact, this is when the team decided to give me a chance to sing the number. As an actor takes several shots to perfect a scene, so did I take over three hours to record the song. At one stage I requested the team to drop the idea if my voice was not up to the mark," Pruthvi recalls, adding that in the end, they loved it and hence I am making the debut as a singer.
Lohith H, the director of Mummy -- Save Me and Devaki is making his debut as a producer with 'Life is Beautiful' and the film will be made under the banner of Friday Films in association with Silver Train International. The film, produced by Kishore Narasimhaiah, will have two directors — Arunkumar M and Sabu Aloysius — helming the project.
