Renowned South Indian director Dinesh Baboo's directorial movie "Kasturi Mahal" has completed its shooting. This is supposed to be the director's 50th movie.
Shanvi Shrivastav is appearing in a prominent role in this movie. 'Kasturi Mahal' which is touted to be a thriller is produced by Rubina Ra and Ravish R.C.
The movie, which went to sets in Dasara, was shot at several locations across Chikkamagalur for about twenty days.
Now, we hear that the teaser of "Kasturi Mahal" will be released on New Year's Eve at midnight. This director of 'Amrutha Varshini" fame has weaved the story of "Kasturi Mahal' based on his personal experiences. Shruthi Prakash, Skanda, and sandalwood senior actor Rangayana Raghu are in the star cast in this movie.
The movie had earlier run into controversy over the title. The filmmaker had earlier titled the film Kasthuri Nivasa, a name inspired from the yesteryear blockbuster which starred Dr Rajkumar. However, Annavru fans objected to the use of the name saying the film was a classic and should remain so. Dinesh Baboo was forced to change the title to Kasthuri Mahal when nobody paid heed to his explanation of the movie plot. The director also stated that the movie was not connected to the Rajkumar film in any way.
Now, with the production having reached the stage of teaser, the film seems to have progressed a great deal. Also, the film is making all the right noises after evading the title controversy.
The filmmaker has made some brilliant movies and now he's betting big on this one to make a comeback. Will his desire be fulfilled? Let's wait and watch.
