Vijay (Sai Dharam Tej) is an engineering graduate who develops an app about accident control and tests his luck at various companies but gets rejected everytime and everywhere. He considers himself as the most unlucky guy in the entire world and awaits to taste success. After facing many rejections, he starts working at a TV shop and falls in love with Lahari (Kalyani Priyadarshan). Sai Dharam Tej is undoubtedly the show stealer for the film. His energetic performance is one of the major driving factors behind the movie. Playing the role of an unsuccessful guy who has been waiting to gain success in his life, Tej has given his hundred percent for the role. Kalyani Priyadarshan is absolutely beautiful and gorgeous in the movie. Her chemistry with Tej worked out really well. Nivetha Pethuraj looked beautiful in the film. She has not only added the glamour content in the film, but also grabbed the attention of the audience. Sunil is a special attraction in the film. He has justified his role. Vennela Kishore got a meaty role in this movie as well and he has did convincing job. Posani Krishna Murali will grab the attention by playing the role of an encouraging father. Also, some intense dialogues in some scenes will impress the audience. Brahmaji and Jaya Prakash acted well.

Technical Aspects:

Kishore Tirumala has prepared an interesting script for the film. The solid story is undoubtedly the plus point for the film. The way he has narrated the story in a beautiful way is impresive and has given importance to each and every character of the film. Production values of Mythri Movie Makers have never failed to grab the attention and they have maintained the same quality in this movie as well. Music by Devi Sri Prasad is undoubtedly one of the major highlights of the film. He has given a couple of humworthy songs that suited well for the film and also his astounding BGM added more strength for the movie. Cinematography by Karthik Ghattamaneni is decent. He has produced some sleak visuals for the film. Editing by A Sreekar Prasad is clean and neat.

The movie starts off in a decent way and the first half will be entertaining filled with comedy and romance. Some of the scenes with Sunil will definitely grab the attention. The romance track between Tej and Kalyani Priyadarshan is also showcase in a decent way. But the second half becomes more serious and more than entertainment, the second half features more emotional content. When compared to the first half, the second half is boring at times and will test the patience of the audience. But the climax is good. Overall, 'Chitralahari' is a one time watch.
