Vijay To Play Gangster in Atlee Movie

Ilayathalapathy Vijay is on a roll following the stupendous success of his last outing Bigil, a sports drama. Bigil was directed by none other than maverick Tamil director Atlee. The film was a Diwali release and became a blockbuster at the box office.

Rumour has it that Atlee will next work with Bollywood badshah Shah Rukh Khan. However, there is no official confirmation about the same till date.

During one of the recent interactions with fans on Twitter, the director hinted at another movie with Vijay.

The duo has already joined hands twice before Bigil in Theri and Mersal both of which became runaway hits. Now, after the latest sports drama, fans kept asking the director when will he collaborate with Vijay again. One of the fans even posted a poster of Vijay sporting a gangster look saying he would love to see the actor as a full fledged gangster. Surprisingly enough, Atlee replied saying in the positive suggesting the movie was very much on cards.

This bit of news should surely come as a surprise for fans. Now, we can't wait to see Vijay playing a gangster. Let's see what happens.
