How Suriya's Soorarai Pottru Makers Got Mohan Babu Call Sheet

Kollywood actor Suriya starrer "Soorarai Pottru' which was released via Amazon Prime Video has got very good response from the viewers. Even the industry people have appreciated this attempt. With the success of Soorarai Pottru', Telugu actor Mohan Babu has completed 45 years of his cinema journey.

Actor Suriya along with Soorarai Pottru' team have congratulated the senior actor, by releasing a video of his film journey along with the scenes he has acted in Soorarai Pottru. Kollywood actor Suriya has shared through this video his experiences with Mohan Babu during the shooting of this movie.

"We approached many artists for this character but none of them agreed to do this role. While thinking how to approach Mohan Babu we conveyed this matter to his daughter Lakshmi Manchu and met the actor through her. Mohan Babu agreed to do the character after listening to the story," recalled Suriya.

He went to add that he learnt a lot from the senior Tollywood actor. "We had a lot to learn from him while we are on the sets. He used to come and stand like a student. He used to ask if some shots are ok after every scene. His attitude has touched our hearts," says Suriya.

Mohan Babu is seen as a Chief Marshall in the movie Soorarai Pottru. The movie is helmed by Sudha Kongara which has Suriya, Aparna, Paresh Rawal, Urvashi, and Bala Murali in the star cast.

It may be recalled that well known sandalwood actor Kichcha Sudeep while showering high praises on this movie has said that actor Suriya deserves standing ovation for his performance in this movie.
