Good News For Vijay Fans: No Change In Master Release Date

If there are movies that Kollywood fans want to watch it this summer, then it is definitely Thalapathy Vijay's Master and Suriya's Soorarai Pottru. Both the movies have raised expectations among the audience with its posters.

Now, fans of both Suriya and Vijay can't wait to see them back on the big screen.

We all know that the entire coronavirus scenario in the country which has so far claimed three cases (Kalburgi, Delhi and Mumbai), has created a lot of panic owing to which several people are resorting to home quarantine.

Now, with the government clampdown on mass gatherings, it will be beyond difficult for moviemakers to release their movies and await fans to watch and respond. It is a known fact that most theatres across the coronavirus hit regions are shut. And even movie screenings have been called off.

This is a measure undertaken by states to prevent the spread of coronavirus. Even malls are closed. So one would only expect the release date to be postponed, right? Sometime back, we had even heard the news.

However, a source in the know tells us that the makers of the Vijay's Master have decided to go ahead with the same date as shceduled. Isnt this new wonderful?

Master stars Vijay, Vijay Sethupathi and Malavika Mohanan in prominent roles. The movie which is directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj is slated for release on April 9.
