Jayalalithaa's Biopic "Thalaivi" teaser starring Kangana Ranaut is released: Fans are trolling Kangana for an artificial look

The queen of Bollywood Kangana Ranaut will be next seen in the biopic of revolutionary actress and former Cheif Minister of Tamil Nadu Jayaram Jayalalithaa. Her biopic called "Thalaivi" is in the making and Kangana is impersonating the role of Jayalalithaa as a young actress and also when she gets into politics. Director Vijay who has been in command of directing movies like Thalaiva and Devi is leading this venture.

The teaser of Thalaivi dropped on the internet yesterday and the audience were surprised to witness the first look of Kangana as Jayalalithaa. She looked completely unrecognizable. The teaser starts with a shooting sequence where Jayalalithaa is shown as a young actress and then it takes us to the masses who are shouting for Jayalalitha on stage and she appeared gesturing a mark as victory to the crowd.

Kangana Ranaut on her twitter and Instagram handle revealed her first look as Jayalalithaa in Thalaivi movie. She also shared the teaser of the movie with the caption "#Thalaivi First Look - A superstar heroine, a revolutionary hero, and now it's time to watch her story unfold."

It appears that the first look of Kangana as Jayalalithaa did not go well with the netizens and they have already started condemning the "Thalaivi" teaser. Since when the teaser of the movie is released, many people are trolling the movie for wrong lead selection and Kangana in particular for overuse of makeup which make her look artificial as older Jayalalithaa.

Well, the reaction for Thalaivi movie in its first impression is rough and sad, however, there is no doubt on Kangana's acting skills and she will surely blow everyone away with her performance. The teaser only cannot decide the fate of the movie. Wait for 26 June 2020 to hit the Thalaivi in theatres to witness the success.
