Saaho Star Prabhas to play Ravana opposite Hrithik as Ram in Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana

After the successful Chhichhore, director Nitesh Tiwari is reportedly set to work on one of his big projects, Ramayana. Director Nitesh Tiwari, who is in the process of creating a three-part marathon feature film series on the "Ramayan" after "Chhichhore", is very clear that in his treatment of the sacrosanct epic, there will be no distortions, no embellishments and no innovation. Tiwari says it would be "foolish to make changes" for the sake of creative liberties or revisionist flourishes.

According to reports, actors Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone will play the roles of Ram and Sita respectively. The latest news is that Saaho star Prabhas will play the role of Ravana. It will be released across India in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. So they have already bounced the idea off to Prabhas. The team wants the Baahubali star to come on board as Ravana because they feel he will add more personality to the character."Prabhas was last seen in Saaho, also starring Shraddha Kapoor. While Hrithik's last film was Super 30, Deepika will soon be seen in Chhapaak.
