Sushant was a brilliant student in his academics and bagged All-India 7th rank in AIEEE examination, he joined ace educational institution but left the engineering college in third year itself… It was all because of his passion towards the big screens. Hoping to become an ace actor he travelled to Mumbai from Patna and started acting in serials.

He first started off his journey as a dancer and worked as a background dancer in many movies. He showed off his dancing skills through Zara Nachke Dikha and Jhalak Dikh Laga reality shows and owned fame through these platforms.

The ace TV producer Ekta Kapoor has recognized his talent and made him to be a part of her serial Pavitra Rishta which not only turned him into a star but made us witness his ace acting skills. His performance as the lead actor Manav made the audience get connected to him. This role bagged him many Television awards and filled his kitty with myriads of accolades.

Next step was the big screens… He made his debut to Bollywood with the movie Kai Po Che and received critical acclaims for his impeccable acting skills. Being made on Chetan Bhagat's 'The 3 Mistakes Of Life' book, this movie went on big near the ticket windows and made us know the amazing talent of this Patna boy.

Thereafter he made us turn into his fan with his Suddh Desi Romance movie sharing screen space with Vaani Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra. Then he got a wonderful chance to act with Aamir Khan in PK movie… Although it was a small role, people started recognizing the talent of this B-Town lad.

Now comes the career best movie for Sushant… Stepping into the shoes of Dhoni and leading reel Indian team made this handsome actor reach close to the audience's hearts.

From then he never looked back and went on essaying the lead roles in the movies like Raabta, Kedarnath, Sonchariya and Chhichhore… His last movie 'Chhichhore' dealt with the mental issues subject and the implications of one's life who face this mental condition.
