Ranjeet to make his web debut, 'Becharey'

Becharey' is produced by Rahul Datta who is one of the protagonists. It also stars Amita Yadav, Sandeep Shrivastava, Prateek Chaudhary, Sambhav Jain, Himanshu Bhatt and Rahul Datta. It is presented by Colourblindentertainment.

On talking about making web debut Ranjeet shares that he was looking at various scripts and ideas and wanted to do an episodic first .

He adds, "really liked the idea of me acting with all very young talented teams in a story of their generation. I really enjoyed the shoot. It is a comedy and there was freedom to create. The director gave us lots of freedom and had a fresh approach and production was very professional."

Protagonist Rahul Datta on talking about his experience with Ranjeet says that the web series is a pure comedy where the young generation can relate with the story.

He shares, "Ranjeet is a very great person he made us comfortable. He is a very cool guy totally opposite of what people see him on screen. Though I was very nervous before shooting with him, he is a very cool guy, very humble and kind human. I can say totally the opposite of what people see him on screen."

According to the web series director Kranti Pratap Singh, most of the series presently are on crime or dark stories.

"This web series is good comedy dealing with youth issues at the same time which makes it stand out in the present lineup of content. I have designed the concept, which allows a celeb to be a part of the show in every fourth episode.

I consider myself extremely blessed to be saying 'action' in front of Ranjeet sir who is a treasure of experience whom we all have grown up watching. It was an extremely learning process for all of us in the team," he adds.

It is an episodic based comedy show that will focus on the lives of 4 boys and a girl of different ages struggling in their personal and professional lives. These friends go through their share of fun in each episode moving towards their goal, friendship, love and crossing each other's lives and creating situational comedy.

Their landlord also has a service apartment in which people keep coming as guests (celebs), and become part of the episode and guests have to be taken care of by the boys as they never pay rent.
