Actor Vivek Oberoi rubbishes the rumours about PM Narendra Modi being a propaganda movie, says people are lying, they are just saying thing because it is their job to say something or the other.

Biopic on current Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has seen its fair share of trouble but the film is finally releasing on 11th April 2019 and actor Vivek Oberoi slams people for spreading lies about the film.

Talking about PM Narendra Modi being called a "propaganda" movie, actor Vivek said, "People will say something or the other, it is their job. We have made a film with honesty, and my producer, Sandip has produced many amazing movies before PM Narendra Modi, he has a very credible body work at such a young age and it is unfair to just say that it is a propaganda film. We have made the film with a lot of heart and people are lying"

The film is directed by Omung Kumar and Vivek will be seen in titular role of PM Modi. In the film he will be seen sporting nine different looks, which according to actor was challenging and amazing experience.

Talking about his different looks and the role itself, Vivek said, "It was a big challenge and an amazing experience as an actor. And all the thank goes to Sandip Ssingh for offering me this role. As an actor, one barely gets a chance to play a legendary Character, such as Prime Minister Narendra Modi. And I've tried my level best as an actor and we even had a good team"

"Creating nine different looks, it was really tough and hard work. From prosthetic, to make-up department, the entire team poured their hard work in creating those looks and I think people would appreciate it in the film" he added.

In fact, Vivek Oberoi has co-written the script and dialogues of the film for which he has been credited but the actor feels the credit goes to the actual writers of the film, Haarsh Limbachiyaa and Anirudh Chawla.

He said, "I have co-written it, Anirudh and Harsh has worked really hard with me, and I think maximum credit goes to my writers. They have worked day and night, given a lot of commitment and I was just there to provide a little bit of support"

The film is jointly produced by Suresh Oberoi, Sandip Ssingh, and Anand Pandit. The film will release in 23 different languages on 11th April 2019.
