Post lockdown, the whole team of ‘Jug Jugg Jeeyo’ movie happily flew to Chandigarh to resume their shooting
Post lockdown, the whole team of 'Jug Jugg Jeeyo' movie happily flew to Chandigarh to resume their shooting. But unfortunately, even after taking all the precautionary measures and following the safety rules, a few members of the team have been tested positive for Covid-19. We have already witnessed Neetu Kapoor and Varun Dhawan being tested positive for this pandemic and now Maniesh Paul also got tested positive for this novel virus.
According to the sources, Maniesh Paul returned to Mumbai from Chandigarh after the shooting was halted. After a couple of days, he felt feverish and went to test for this novel disease. Unfortunately, the results came positive.
Well, Neetu Kapoor who was all happy returning to the shooting after 7 years break is tested positive for Covid-19. Thus, she returned to Mumbai from Chandigarh in an air ambulance and is now getting treated. Well, Varun Dhawan who has only mild symptoms is advised to take home quarantine. Even the director of the movie Raj Mehta is also tested positive for this virus and is getting treated.
Earlier there were rumours that, Anil Kapoor is tested positive for Covid-19, but his brother Boney Kapoor has thrashed the rumours and said that Anil Kapoor is safe and fine. With these unfortunate events, the shooting of 'Jug Jugg Jeeyo' movie has been halted and will begin in the New Year itself.
'Jug Jugg Jeeyo' movie is being directed by Raj Mehta and bankrolled by Karan Johar under Dharma Productions banner. This movie also has Varun Dhawan, Kiara Ali Advani, Anil Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor in the lead roles.
