Thus Bollywood diva Shilpa Shetty has shared the checklist of Dos and Don'ts which one need to follow to stay safe at home. She took to her Instagram page and dropped the Dos and Don'ts list… Have a look!

In this post, there is a checklist of Dos and Don'ts which one needs to follow in this crisis period. These necessary measures are listed by the Mumbai Municipal Corporation… The officials of BMC also added a few other precautionary measures on their official Instagram page…


The officials have listed down the precautionary measures along with the emergency phone number. One needs to call 1916 and press 4 to get connected with the BMC officials and request them to lend a hand in the crisis period.


In this post, BMC has requested the people to carry a hammer to break the glass in an emergency situation.

Even Bollywood ace actor Akshay Kumar also spreads a word to his fans and Mumbaikars and alerts them about the present situation. He also mentions the necessary measures which are needed to be followed if Nisarga cyclone hits hard.

He comes up with a video message and alerts the people with these 10 safety tips…

1. Don't step out of the houses in this cyclone time

2. Strictly avoid going to the seaside

3. If you need to step out, then take all the necessary precautions

4. If you are stuck in the rain, don't stand underneath the trees

5. Off the gas and electricity if you are not using them

6. If there is anything which is damageable or any loose item in balconies, then pull them into houses.

7. Keep candles and eatables aside to use them in necessary situations.

8. Call 1916 and press 4 if in case of any emergency so that BMC can reach you ASAP

9. Don't forward unnecessary messages, go for a fact check and then send it to your dear ones.

10. Stay strong and fearless in this crisis time…
