One of the most talked-about couples of B-town, Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora often make headlines for their romantic dinner dates or couple vacations. But when it comes to getting hitched, they both are seen quite reluctant to talk about it openly to the media. But this time was not the same, as the Panipat actor Arjun Kapoor revealed his wedding plans with Malaika Arora during an interview with Pinkvilla.

As per their report, Arjun Kapoor said that currently, the couple has no plans for marriage in the near future and whenever they decide to move ahead with it, he will be the first one to tell the media about it. The actor also talked about his personal life always being the talk of the town and said, "It's a price you pay for stardom. If anybody doesn't like it, he is in the wrong profession. I can't stop anybody from writing about my personal life because there is an audience who wants to know more. I am okay with that as long as one speaks about it respectfully".

His upcoming film Panipat is a period drama and will be releasing on 6th December. Apart from Arjun Kapoor, the film also stars Kriti Sanon, Sanjay Dutt and Monish Behl in lead roles and is directed by Ashutosh Gowariker.

However, after the trailer launch of Panipat, Arjun Kapoor was attacked by various trollers who criticised the film for being similar to Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmavat. Commenting on that Arjun said, "It's like saying that there shouldn't be another war film because 'Uri' has been made. That's not possible because there are so many untold stories. Today, if we want to tell the story of Abhinandan Varthaman, then we shouldn't make it just because 'Uri' has been made? Similarly, Tanhaji shouldn't exist after the release of Panipat. Tomorrow, if someone wants to tell the story of Chatrapati Shivaji, then should we stop them just because the story has been told many times before. So, I think there are too many stories to be told for us to be bound by the era they are set in."
