Anand Deverakonda’s Epic First Day Collection Report

It is well known that Anand Deverakonda and Vaishnavi Chaitanya’s Epic movie hit the theatres yesterday amid huge expectations. But this youthful romantic drama completely disappointed the audience with its poor screenplay and not-so-interesting storyline. Some of them even questioned how ‘90s – A Middle Class Biopic’ web series director Aditya Haasan could deliver such a disappointing movie.

Well, we already heard similar kind of reviews for Yash’s Toxic and now even Epic movie carried the same negative feedback. Although the movie received negative reviews, it managed to mint Rs 5+ crores on day one. The makers shared this news on social media and tried to pull audience towards the theatres.

Going with the plot, it all starts off with lead actor Anand aka Aditya shifting to London for his MS. Although he is always portrayed as a below-average student in the 90s Middle Class Web Series, he moves to London to fulfill his father’s dream through an overseas education consultancy. Thereafter, his love story with Vaishnavi Chaitanya adds that romantic angle to the movie. But their breakup adds the twist to this romantic drama.

EPIC movie is directed by Aditya Haasan and is produced by Naga Vamsi under the Sithara Entertainments banner. This movie has an ensemble cast of Anand Deverakonda, Vaishnavi Chaitanya, Vasuki, Shivaji and Rohan.
