Oben Electric logs record sales in Sept
Hyderabad: Electric motorcycle maker Oben Electric recorded 1,417 registrations in September 2026, its highest monthly sales so far, according to Vahan data cited by the company. The company said the performance made it the highest-selling electric motorcycle brand during the month, with demand led by its Rorr Evo model.
Madhumita Agrawal, Founder & CEO, Oben Electric, said, ““Becoming India’s No. 1 selling electric motorcycle brand is a significant milestone for Oben and a strong validation of the trust our customers are placing in us and in Rorr Evo. India is the world’s largest motorcycle market, and the transition to electric mobility cannot truly reach scale without electric motorcycles playing a central role. For us, the opportunity has always been to make that transition meaningful for the millions of riders who depend on motorcycles every day. The response to Rorr Evo has been extremely encouraging because it shows that riders are willing to embrace electric when they find a motorcycle that meets their expectations. That is the shift we set out to create, and seeing it reflected in the market gives us even greater confidence in the road ahead.”
