Defexpo 2020 roadshow held in Hyderabad
HAL, Avionics Division, BDL and Midhani jointly held a roadshow in Hyderabad on Wednesday ahead of the Defexpo 2020.
Hyderabad: HAL, Avionics Division, BDL and Midhani jointly held a roadshow in Hyderabad on Wednesday ahead of the Defexpo 2020. The event was aimed at encouraging city-based vendors of the three organisations to participate and make them aware of the business opportunities the exhibition has to offer.
The 11th edition of Defexpo 2020, a biennial mega defence exhibition, will be held from February 5 - 8, 2020 at Lucknow. It is being organised by the Ministry of Defence, Government of India. The theme of this edition is, 'Digital Transformation of Defence.'
The company said, the exhibition will bring leading technologies in the defence sector under one roof and provide opportunities for government, private manufacturers and startups.
Inaugurating the roadshow, Chandraker Bharti, Joint Secretary (Aero), Ministry of Defence, invited vendors to participate in the expo.
"The event will provide as a very good business opportunity for vendors to showcase their products and exchange ideas," he added. Vendors from over 180 firms based in Hyderabad and Secunderabad attended the roadshow.
