All banks will remain closed for eight days in October due to festivals and national events. It begins from October 2, Gandhi Jayanti to festivals like Dussehra and Diwali later in the month.

October holiday list includes four Sundays, the second and fourth Saturdays, and different states will have special public holidays. Customers are advised to plan their bank-related work as per the bank holidays.
