Jailed peddler’s wife running ganja network in Bengaluru held

Bengaluru: Bengaluru city police attached to Bandepalya police station arrested two persons including a woman, and seized 24 kg ganja on Saturday. The accused was identified as Ragavendra (26), a resident of Bettadasanapura, and his accomplice Misbah (21). According to the police, an accused identified as Vishwash was arrested for selling ganja and he was sent to the central jail. Because of his high contacts, Vishwash managed to revive his ganja business through his wife Mishba and his friend Ragavendra.
"Misbah guided his husband's contacts across Bengaluru to sell ganja. She has rented a house near Hulimangala village to store ganja packets at one place and she has kept dogs to guard the storehouse. Following a tip-off that a gang was distributing ganja, a team of police personnel managed to arrest the two accused," said the police statement. Police seized 24 kg ganja worth Rs 15 lakh and registered a complaint at Bandepalya police station.
