Volvo XC60 and XC90 SUVs have been updated Globally

Volvo has globally updated the XC60 and XC90 plug-in hybrid SUVs with a larger 41.2kWh battery, significantly increasing electric-only range. The XC60 also receives cosmetic upgrades, a new infotainment system, and enhanced driver-assistance technology.

Volvo XC60 and XC90 SUVs have been updated Globally
The Volvo XC60 and XC90 SUVS have been updated globally, but the biggest change is not something you can spot from the outside instantly.
Both SUVs now packs a larger 41.2kWh battery, instead of the previous 19kwh unit, SUVs with their plug in hybrid powertrains now have enough electric range to cove up to 200 kilometres ( up to 200 kilometres of electric driving in XC60 and around 162 kilometres in the XC90). The XC60 has also seen a cosmetic update.
Bigger battery and more electric range
Volvo has made one major change that completely alters what these PHEVs can do between charges. Owing to the increased battery capacity and a more powerful electric motor, both models have a much longer electric only range. The new pack sits within the floor of the SUVs. That said, the updated international spec XC60 and XC90 continue with a 2.0 litre four cyclinder petrol at the front and electric motors at the rear.
The new XC60 makes 461hp and 759Nm and can do a 0 to 100 km, h sprint in 4.8 seconds. The XC90, on the other hand, produces the same 461hp, but 751Nm. It takes 5.2 seconds for the same run.
Volvo XC60 gets Cosmetic Updates
The XC60 receives the more extensive makeover. The front looks new with a revised gille and bumper, along with updated versions of its thou’s Hammer LED headlights. The new alloy wheels and revised taillights are also included.
The cabinet also comes with an 11-2 inch touchscreen running Volvo’s new Car UX interface. The SUV also benefits from upgraded cameras, radar and sensors for its driver assistance featuers.
