Visakhapatnam: The MLA contestants of TDP, YSRCP and Jana Sena Parties of Visakhapatnam South Assembly constituency have briefed about their priorities in the elections.As part of the series of programmes with the MLA contestants, the Vizag Journalist Forum on Friday organised Face-to-Face with Visakhapatnam South Assembly constituency candidates.

TDP contestant and sitting MLA V Ganesh Kumar, YSRCP candidate Dronamraju Srinivasa Rao and Jana Sena Party contestant G Giridhar participated in the programme and revealed their priorities, if they voted to power in the elections.

YSRCP candidate Dronamraju Srinivasa Rao said that the eradication of poverty, minimising the pollution levels and infrastructure development were his top priorities. He claimed that he would be available 24/7 for the people and serve their interests.

TDP contestant V Ganesh Kumar said that he developed the constituency in all aspects and he would continue the good relations with the people even he defeated or win in the constituency. One of the top five issues in the constituency, air pollution has now brought down to zero level by investing huge amounts by the Visakhapatnam Port Trust, he pointed out.

Underground drainage works were in full swing and ensured drinking water supply to all families, he claimed. Jana Sena Party contestant G Giridhar alleged that all these decades, the political parties neglected the constituency totally and added that the development would only be possible with Jana Sena Party. He appealed to voters to give him a chance to develop the constituency.

He said he would immediately expand the maternity hospital for the convenience of patients. He said an exclusive manifesto would be released after discussing with the Visakhapatnam MP contestant V V Lakshminarayana.
