YSRCP govt should release white paper on State finances, demands BJP

Party leaders submit a memorandum to Governor
Vijayawada : BJP State president Daggubati Purandeswari met Governor S Abdul Nazeer at Raj Bhavan here on Friday along with other BJP leaders and submitted a memorandum with 13 issues asking the State government to make public the state financial condition, total debts as per RBI report and government properties mortgaged.
Later speaking to the media, Purandeswari said that the YSRCP government formed several corporations and has taken huge loans. It has diverted the panchayat Raj funds, she alleged.
Purandeswari flayed the YSRCP government for its failure to pay bills to sarpanches. She said the Governor has the right to question the State government on financial condition. She said that the BJP demanded the State government to release a white paper on the State’s financial condition.
Violating the election code, she alleged that the ruling YSRCP paid bills to its followers.
